21.04.2008 UBS AG announces issue of a Shareholder Report providing facts on its positions and losses in the U.S. subprime residential through December 31, 2007. The document provides an overview of a report which was submitted earlier to the Swiss Federal Banking Commission (EBK) and is available on www.ubs.com/agm, and includes summary on the kinds of businesses that were affected by the losses, business models and growth initiatives pursued in those businesses, how these losses developed in the relevant businesses, and the main findings related to the causes of the losses.

16.04.2008 The Board of Directors of UBS AG determined 20:1 exchange ratio for the stock dividend. The holder will be able to acquire one new registered share of UBS AG for free for twenty entitlements. Every registered share of UBS AG with a nominal value of CHF 0.10 will be allocated one tradable entitlement. The entitlements trading period on SWX Europe will be from April 28 until May 9, 2008, entitlements held after this period will be automatically exchanged into new shares, or on about May 15, 2008 at the ratio of 20:1. The first trading day of the new shares created as a result of the stock dividends is May 19, 2008.

01.04.2008 Credit Suisse's Alternative Investments business and DLJ South American Partners announced the closing of their first private equity fund targeting investment opportunities in Latin America, with a focus on Argentina, Brazil and Chile. The fund is closed with USD 300 million in investment capital, and seeks to capitalize of the attractive growth profile of the region.
