02.11.2006 Credit Suisse has launched the new Center of Excellence in India, which follows similar Centers established in Singapore and in North Carolina, USA. This is a part of a global sourcing initiative by Credit Suisse to leverage talent around the globe and maximize efficient use of its resources. The new Pune site will become operational in January 2007. Credit Suisse has signed contracts with Wipro Technologies providing for an initial 2-year commitment covering the lease of premises at Pune and the provision of outsourced services for information technology, finance, operations and front-office analytics. Credit Suisse considers India to be one of the most important growth markets for its Asia Pacific business.
